Quick verdict

Tint Wiz is one of the most purpose-built business-management platforms for window tint and film-focused shops. Its strongest advantages are professional proposals, film inventory, project-based job records, unlimited users, automated reminders and support for automotive plus flat-glass workflows. At $150/month, however, it is much easier to justify for an established shop or small team than for a brand-new solo installer.

What Is Tint Wiz?

Tint Wiz is an all-in-one CRM and project-management system designed around the workflow of a tint shop. Instead of treating every job like a generic field-service appointment, it organizes the business around customers, projects, vehicles or properties, appointments, proposals, services, film, invoices, photos and documents.

The product is window-tint-first, but Tint Wiz currently lists support for:

  • Automotive window tint
  • Residential and commercial window tint
  • Paint Protection Film (PPF)
  • Vehicle wraps
  • Ceramic coatings
  • Auto detailing
  • Marine tint and coatings
  • Vinyl graphics and other related services

Our assessment: Tint Wiz makes the most sense when film installation is a meaningful part of the business. A pure mobile detailer who never sells tint or PPF can get many of the same general CRM functions elsewhere for less money.

Tint Wiz Pricing in 2026

The current Tint Wiz homepage advertises $150/month after a 30-day free trial. The price is flat rather than per user, and the current site says it includes unlimited users and unlimited projects with no contract.

$150 flat can be attractive for teams

A one-person shop pays the same $150 base subscription as a larger team, but adding more staff does not increase the Tint Wiz subscription under its current unlimited-user model. That makes the economics improve as the team grows.

Important: Tint Wiz still has older $100 pricing on some pages

Pricing discrepancy found: Tint Wiz's current homepage says $150/month, but several older or secondary Tint Wiz pages still display $100/month. We therefore treat $150/month as the current advertised price because it appears on the main product page and current FAQ. Confirm the price shown during signup before paying.

This is exactly the kind of pricing issue worth checking directly rather than relying on an old review or an older indexed vendor page.

Professional Proposals: One of Tint Wiz's Best Features

Tint Wiz is unusually focused on the sales proposal itself. Shops can send proposals through SMS and email, offer multiple options, add photos and upsells, and let the customer approve digitally.

The current product page specifically promotes Good / Better / Best style proposals. Proposal status can be tracked so the shop can see whether a customer has opened, viewed or approved the offer.

For repeatable automotive services, Tint Wiz also supports saved or "canned" proposals. A shop can prepare common packages such as:

  • Entry, mid-tier and premium tint packages
  • Front-end vs full-body PPF
  • Sedan vs SUV service combinations
  • Tint + windshield add-ons
  • PPF + ceramic coating upsells

Our assessment: this is a strong fit for shops that frequently lose leads after giving quick verbal prices. A structured proposal gives the customer something concrete to compare and gives the shop a better way to present premium options.

Scheduling and Appointment Reminders

Tint Wiz combines a calendar with mapping and project data. Appointments can be assigned to team members, and all job details stay attached to the project.

Current Tint Wiz documentation says customers receive an appointment confirmation when the job is scheduled, followed by automated reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment through email and SMS.

For mobile and flat-glass work, the mapping view can also help operators group jobs geographically and reduce unnecessary travel.

Our assessment: this is more useful than a standalone calendar because the installer can open the appointment and see the related measurements, vehicle information, notes, services, proposal and project files.

Film Inventory: A Major Differentiator

Film inventory is one of Tint Wiz's most industry-specific features. Shops can add film rolls, print custom labels, track roll check-ins and check-outs, and track remaining material by weight or length.

For flat-glass jobs, measurements and film usage can be connected to projects. Tint Wiz documentation also describes automatically deducting film from inventory based on project usage.

Why this matters: generic CRMs may handle customers, quotes and invoices well, but they usually do not understand partial rolls of tint or PPF film. Shops with meaningful film inventory should give this feature substantial weight.

Automotive, PPF and Ceramic Coating Workflows

Automotive projects can store year, make and model information and can include services such as window tint, PPF and ceramic coating. Project records can contain proposals, appointments, invoices, notes, photos, videos and documents.

Tint Wiz also publishes dedicated PPF and ceramic coating content. For PPF businesses, it emphasizes lead capture, proposals, scheduling, film inventory, project management, invoicing and analytics. Ceramic coating services can be added to a project and offered as proposal add-ons.

Important distinction

Tint Wiz is business-management / CRM software — not PPF or tint pattern-cutting software. If your primary need is a vehicle pattern database connected to a plotter, you should evaluate cutting software separately.

Flat Glass Quoting

Tint Wiz is also designed for residential and commercial film work. Users can enter room and window measurements, calculate square footage, associate film options and build detailed proposals from the recorded measurements.

That dual automotive + flat-glass capability is important for tint businesses that work across vehicles, homes and commercial properties instead of specializing in only one segment.

Lead Capture and CRM

Tint Wiz can create customizable lead forms that can be embedded on a website, shared with links or used with QR codes. Submitted leads flow directly into the Tint Wiz dashboard rather than sitting in a separate email inbox.

From there, the shop can create a project, send a proposal, schedule an appointment and maintain a customer history.

The platform also includes automated review requests via SMS and email, plus analytics for tracking business performance.

Photos, Documents and E-Signatures

Projects can store before-and-after photos, videos, notes and other files. Shops can also create documents such as:

  • Warranty documents
  • Care instructions
  • Customer agreements
  • Disclaimers
  • Contracts

Documents can be sent to customers for electronic signature and stored with the project.

Our assessment: this is especially useful for PPF, ceramic coating and tint shops where installation condition, aftercare requirements and warranty documentation need to remain attached to the vehicle/customer record.

Invoices, Deposits and TintWizPay

Tint Wiz includes its own invoicing workflow. Deposits can be recorded against a project and later applied to the invoice.

Tint Wiz now also offers TintWizPay, an integrated payment solution. Current Help Center documentation says it supports payments inside Tint Wiz, physical terminals and automatic invoice updates when payments are processed.

Customers can also pay an online deposit after approving a proposal when the business is set up with the integrated payment system.

Cost check: the core Tint Wiz subscription price does not tell you your total payment-processing cost. Ask Tint Wiz for current TintWizPay transaction and terminal pricing before comparing total software cost with other platforms.

QuickBooks Online Integration

Tint Wiz integrates with QuickBooks Online for invoicing and payments, but it is important to understand the limits.

  • Invoices created in Tint Wiz can sync to QuickBooks Online.
  • Invoice changes made in Tint Wiz can sync to QuickBooks.
  • Payments can sync between the systems for Tint Wiz-created invoices.
  • QuickBooks invoices created independently do not automatically become Tint Wiz invoices.
  • The integration does not currently sync estimates, inventory or payroll.

Our assessment: the integration is useful, but businesses should not assume Tint Wiz and QuickBooks function as a complete two-way mirror of every record.

Zapier Integration

Tint Wiz also supports Zapier. Current product marketing describes connections to more than 6,000 apps, while older Help Center documentation explains Tint Wiz triggers for new contacts, projects, invoices and proposals.

That creates useful options for marketing automation, email lists, calendars and other external systems without requiring Tint Wiz to build every integration natively.

Mobile and Device Support

Tint Wiz works in a web browser and currently provides iOS and Android apps. This makes it practical for installers who need project information at the shop, at a customer's property or next to the vehicle.

Tint Wiz Pros

Tint Wiz Cons

  • $150/month is expensive for a brand-new solo operator compared with lower-cost CRMs
  • Flat pricing gives small teams more value than single-user businesses
  • The website currently contains inconsistent $150 and older $100 pricing references
  • QuickBooks integration does not sync every record type
  • Film and tint specialization may be unnecessary for a detail-only business
  • It does not replace dedicated PPF/tint pattern-cutting software
  • Payment processing creates additional costs beyond the base subscription

Who Should Choose Tint Wiz?

Choose Tint Wiz if...

  • Window tint is a core service in your business.
  • You sell PPF and need film-focused project and inventory management.
  • You operate both automotive and residential/commercial tint services.
  • You want to present Good / Better / Best proposals instead of verbal quotes.
  • You need multiple installers to access the same system without per-user subscription fees.
  • You want customer reminders, proposals, projects, invoices, documents and reviews connected in one workflow.
  • You need film roll inventory rather than generic product inventory.

Consider another platform if...

  • You are a solo mobile detailer with no tint or PPF services.
  • Your only needs are basic CRM, quotes, invoices and scheduling.
  • Your budget is well below $150/month.
  • Your top priority is VIN-driven estimating and vehicle condition documentation.
  • You need dedicated plotter/pattern-cutting software rather than business management.

Is Tint Wiz Worth $150/Month?

DetailerFit verdict

For a serious tint or film-focused shop, yes — Tint Wiz has a clear reason to exist. Film inventory, flat-glass measurements, multi-option proposals, project records and unlimited users solve problems that generic CRMs do not handle particularly well.

For a new solo detailer, probably not yet. If you mainly need basic quoting, CRM and scheduling, the $150 flat subscription is difficult to justify until your workflow actually benefits from Tint Wiz's specialized tools.

The key question is not whether Tint Wiz has enough features. It does. The question is whether your shop will use the film-specific features that make it different.
