QuoteIQ pricing for mobile detailers: which plan do you actually need?
QuoteIQ starts at $29.99/month, but the cheapest plan is not automatically the best value. The key is matching the plan to the workflow you actually run.
Quick answer
For a solo mobile detailer who mainly needs estimates, invoices, scheduling and payments, Essentials is the logical place to start. Pro becomes more interesting when follow-up automation, a client portal, calling/texting and job costing matter. Elite is the first tier with customer self-booking and route optimization.

Which QuoteIQ plan makes sense for a mobile detailer?
Essentials — best starting point for many solo detailers
Essentials is the most compelling tier if you are a one-person detailing business and your main goal is to stop juggling estimates, invoices, payment links and a separate calendar. It includes estimates, invoicing, internal job scheduling, online payments, customer contact management, e-signatures and web, iOS and Android access.
The important limitation: Essentials does not include a customer-facing self-booking link. If you are happy to confirm appointments yourself, that may not matter. If your goal is to let customers book directly against your live availability, you need Elite or Max.
Beginner — useful if documentation becomes part of the workflow
Beginner raises the price to $74.99/month and adds a second user. Its value comes from tools such as QuoteIQ Cam, inspection forms, job reports, before-and-after media tools, expense tracking and advanced analytics.
For a detailing business that documents paint condition, interior damage, before-and-after work or customer approvals, those additions can be useful. But if you only want a CRM, estimates, invoices and scheduling, the jump from Essentials deserves scrutiny.
Pro — the automation tier
Pro is where QuoteIQ starts to look more like an operating system for a growing service business rather than a basic quoting and invoicing tool. It includes four users and adds ClientHub calling and texting, email/text automation, a client portal, website contact forms, job costing and QuickBooks Online integration.
For a mobile detailer, Pro is worth considering when missed follow-ups, scattered customer messages or uncertainty about profit per job are becoming real operational problems. If those problems do not exist yet, paying $149.99/month simply because Pro is labeled popular may be unnecessary.
Elite — customer self-booking, routes and team operations
Elite is $299/month and is the first plan that includes InstaSchedule, QuoteIQ's customer-facing online booking feature. It also adds InstaQuote, automated review requests, mass campaigns, pipelines, inventory, route optimization, route-density tools and EmployeeHub features such as GPS tracking and time tracking.
This tier makes more sense for a detailing business running multiple technicians, vans or service areas. A solo detailer should have a specific reason for needing Elite rather than upgrading for features that may sit unused.
Max — mainly for larger operations
Max costs $699/month and supports unlimited users. It adds crew tools, sales-team commission tracking, unlimited pipelines, additional businesses and a dedicated account manager. For most solo and small mobile detailing businesses, this is likely more platform than they need.
The biggest pricing trap: comparing only the $29.99 headline
QuoteIQ's low entry price is attractive, but software decisions should be made around the feature you actually need. If customer self-booking is essential, for example, your real comparison point is Elite at $299/month—not Essentials at $29.99. If automated follow-up and job costing are essential, Pro at $149.99 is the more relevant tier.
That is why DetailerFit compares software by workflow and plan level rather than simply ranking the lowest advertised starting price.
What to know about the 14-day trial
If you are testing QuoteIQ, choose the plan whose features you actually want to evaluate before starting. Avoid switching tiers casually during the trial if you intend to keep the full trial period.
Our plan picks by detailing-business stage
- Solo, early-stage: Start by evaluating Essentials. Upgrade only if a missing feature solves a real workflow problem.
- Solo but documentation-heavy: Compare Essentials with Beginner if inspection forms, job reports and before/after media are important.
- Growing team: Pro is the more meaningful tier if automation, communications, client self-service and job costing are becoming important.
- Multiple technicians or vans: Elite becomes easier to justify when self-booking, route optimization and employee operations can save actual time.
- Larger operation: Max is designed around unlimited users, crews and more complex business structures.
Is QuoteIQ worth it for a mobile detailing business?
It can be. QuoteIQ's strongest value proposition is that a solo operator can enter at a relatively low monthly price and stay inside the same platform as the business grows. The trade-off is that some of the features most likely to save time at scale—automation, customer self-booking, routing and employee operations—sit on substantially more expensive tiers.
For that reason, our decision rule is simple: do not buy the highest plan you can afford. Buy the lowest plan that removes a real bottleneck in your business.
