JobField Review (2026): Is It a Good Fit for Auto Detailers?
JobField is broad field-service software with flat company pricing, online booking, scheduling, live dispatch, route optimization, estimates, invoicing, payments and native mobile apps. For detailers, the strongest case is mobile-crew operations; the main caveat is that JobField is not positioned as a detailing-specific vehicle CRM.
Mobile detailing businesses that care about flat crew pricing, dispatch, routing, online booking, estimates, invoices and collecting payment in one field-service workflow.
JobField is not detailing-native. If VIN history, vehicle inspections, before/after condition photos or detailing-specific package logic are core requirements, verify those workflows directly before switching.

JobField pricing in 2026
JobField publishes three flat monthly tiers priced per company rather than per technician. That makes the user and job limits more important than a simple per-seat comparison.
| Plan | Monthly price | Published plan signal |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $49 | 1 user, 100 jobs/month, live dispatch map, scheduling, invoicing and JobField Pay |
| Pro | $149 | Up to 5 users, 500 jobs/month, call summaries/transcription, Tap to Pay, reminders, advanced reports and native mobile app |
| Platform | $299 | Up to 25 users, unlimited jobs, Pro features, customer documents and priority support |
JobField currently advertises a 14-day free trial with no credit card and month-to-month plans. Phone service starts separately from $39.99/month, and the AI receptionist is a $139/month add-on on any plan. Verify current checkout terms before subscribing.
Online booking: request first, confirm second
JobField's booking page is included in every plan. Customers choose a service, preferred time window, enter their contact and service address, and describe the job. The request lands in a Bookings inbox and does not automatically reserve a live calendar slot.
That distinction can make sense for mobile detailing. A detailer can see the address and request before committing drive time, rather than allowing a customer to create a confirmed appointment on the wrong side of the service area. The trade-off is that this is request-and-confirm booking, not instant self-confirmed booking.
Scheduling, dispatch and route optimization
JobField's strongest fit for a growing mobile detailing crew is field operations. The official product pages describe a drag-and-drop scheduling board, live technician and job map, assignment to nearby technicians, customer ETA updates and route re-sequencing when work changes during the day.
For a solo studio detailer, that may be more operations software than needed. For two or more mobile crews, the combination of schedule, map, routing and customer updates can become more relevant than a simple calendar.
Estimates, jobs, invoices and payments
JobField connects estimates to the job and invoice workflow. Approved estimate line items carry forward, and technicians can invoice on site rather than rebuilding the customer and job details after the work is complete.
JobField Pay is built into the product. Current first-party pages describe cards, online payment links and Tap to Pay on iPhone. This is useful for detailers who want the field technician to close the operational loop from arrival through collection.
Native mobile apps and field workflow
JobField currently describes native iOS and Android apps for technicians. The field workflow includes job details, GPS/navigation context, customer history, invoicing and offline access that syncs when connectivity returns.
That is a meaningful difference from software that is primarily an office dashboard. We have not hands-on tested app speed, offline conflict handling or battery/GPS behavior, so those points should be checked during the trial.
AI receptionist and phone add-ons
JobField's AI receptionist is a separate $139/month add-on that the company says can answer calls 24/7, collect job details and book work into the system. It comes with its own number and does not require the separate phone-service package.
Phone service starts from $39.99/month, with usage billed separately. A detailer evaluating the AI layer should model the full software + phone/AI cost rather than comparing the $49 Starter headline by itself.
Where JobField fits auto detailing
- Mobile crews: scheduling, routing, dispatch and live ETA communication map naturally to multiple vans or technicians.
- Booking intake: request-first booking can help mobile operators review location and job details before confirming.
- Field collection: estimates, invoices and payment collection are designed to happen around the job rather than back at a desk.
- Predictable team pricing: company-level tiers can be attractive when per-user pricing would otherwise grow with the crew.
- After-hours lead capture: the optional AI receptionist can extend the intake workflow beyond business hours.
JobField trade-offs for detailers
- Not detailing-native: the official sources reviewed are built around general field-service workflows, not a detailing-specific operating model.
- Vehicle workflow is not established here: DetailerFit did not find first-party evidence in this research of VIN scanning, vehicle-specific service history or pre-service damage inspection records.
- Starter is single-user: a second team member pushes the business into the $149 Pro tier.
- AI and phone features cost extra: the $49 headline is not the all-in price if those features are part of the buying reason.
- Hands-on depth not claimed: we have not tested migration quality, payment reconciliation, routing accuracy, support response time or mobile reliability.
Who should shortlist JobField?
Shortlist JobField if your main problem is operating a mobile crew: incoming booking requests, assigning jobs, route changes, technician visibility, estimates, invoices and collecting payment. The flat company tiers are also worth comparing if team growth makes per-seat software expensive.
Look harder at detailing-native alternatives if the vehicle itself is the center of the workflow. If your buying checklist begins with VIN records, vehicle-condition photos, coating/PPF packages or dedicated automotive history, verify JobField can support those requirements before migrating.
JobField is not currently normalized into DetailerFit's evidence-weighted Match Score. This standalone review gives the product a research path without inserting an affiliate partner into the scored vendor set for commercial reasons.
DetailerFit verdict
JobField is a credible field-service option for mobile detailers who value dispatch and crew economics more than automotive-specific CRM depth. The $49 Starter tier is straightforward for a solo operator, while Pro is the more relevant comparison point for a growing crew because it expands to five users and adds stronger mobile/reporting capabilities.
The key decision is not whether JobField has enough features in general. It is whether its field-service model matches the way your detailing business stores vehicle history and documents condition. Use the trial to test that exact workflow before moving customer data.
